About Ikoka Kitahama Our commitment

We want guests to experience truly serious yakitori

The head of “Sumibiyaki Yakitori Ikoka,” who has devoted 15 years to the craft, personally stands at the grill. Each skewer is carefully prepared with precise heat control to maximize the ingredients’ natural umami. To let guests fully experience our philosophy, we first offer the “Chef’s Omakase 6-skewer set (¥3,520 tax included),” designed to showcase the essence of our yakitori.

Grilled boldly over close-range high heat using Kishu binchotan charcoal

Our yakitori is prepared using two types of chicken: Kotobuki jidori (premium free-range chicken) and branded chicken. By grilling over strong, close-range heat, the juices and fat are locked inside, resulting in an impressively juicy bite the moment you taste it. A mild blended salt with kombu enhances the natural flavor of the ingredients even further.

Fresh ingredients allow for unique delicacies
including chicken yukhoe and more

Our à la carte dishes include “Chicken Yukhoe topped with karasumi-style egg yolk (¥1,320),” “Liver pâté served with toasted bread (¥880),” as well as recommended closing dishes such as “Oyakodon (¥1,210)” and “Mini chicken ramen (¥600).” We invite you to enjoy our carefully crafted chicken dishes.
